I had my second round of mole removal and stitches on Monday. The bad news is that I now have five stitches (plus three dissolvable ones) but the good news is that it hurt MUCH less this time, thanks to a prescription for topical lidocaine. I am a total needle phobe and asked my doctor if she could prescribe me anything to make the shots a little less painful. She said it wouldn’t make much difference, but I was thrilled to have a prescription anyways – the placebo effect is real. As it turns out, the lidocaine made a HUGE difference! I’d say the pain was reduced by 90%. I only felt one of probably 6 sticks she did to numb my leg. I’m going to use it the next time I need a shot or blood draw!

Case

I am obsessed with my iPhone without a case. Unfortunately, I know I will destroy it if I go caseless. My friends make fun of me because I switch cases all the time (I have 3 that I rotate through) but then again I did have an obsession with rearranging my bedroom furniture when I was little. I like to keep things fresh! Anyways, I happened to click a link in a sponsored Facebook post for this case….or, er, non-case, called Utomic. It’s four corners of bumpers for your phone that protects it (apparently really well!) while letting your phone’s true sleek feel shine through. I bought it completely impulsively and will report back on how it works! (FYI, I used a coupon code for 25% off that I found on some guy’s blog – TAKE25).

Speaking of phone stuff, I bought these rose gold charger cords on Amazon. So much prettier in my car than my old black one : )

Trolls

Have you seen the preview for Trolls?! I just love the neon colors, glitter, and sparkles, and, of course, I am obsessed with the new JT song. Why do we have to wait until November to see it?!

Guess who is signed up for fall soccer? Mazen AND me!! He told me he already knows how to play, so we’ll see how this goes : )

I just bought these soccer socks after wearing only black ones for three years.

And these laces for Mazen’s new shoes! He knows how to put on his shoes….until he got a new pair with laces. These are the best solution! I have them for my own shoes and never tie anything.

And finally, a canned wine I love!! No carbonation – just delicious wine in can form. I LOVE the Pinot Grigio. Perfect for a weeknight when I just want a glass with dinner…or while watching the Bachelorette finale! There is a rosé too….haven’t gotten my hands on it yet as it was sold out. I found these at Ivy Provisions!
