A couple months ago I was in L.A. for a business trip and one of my colleagues looked over and asked what my daughter Harley was drinking. I told him it was my homemade bone broth that I brought all the way from Charlotte, and he couldn’t believe it… first of all, that I’d taken the time to make it from scratch, package it up, freeze it, put it in a cooler, and travel across the country with this in my luggage.

You see… Harley and I both love chicken bone broth because it’s nutrient dense and tastes great! This means I’ve been traveling with it (which has been interesting). It takes quite a bit of planning ahead and time… roasting an organic chicken… simmering the broth for 2 days… straining and freezing it in portions… packing it in a special travel cooler… and making sure my hotel has a fridge and that I’d have a way to warm it up. As you can see, it’s quite the process!
