I love being able to strap on a pack with the bare essentials and get lost in the woods for days at a time. For the longest time, I’ve been on a perpetual quest to discover and collect the lightest gear to make my outdoor quests as efficient as possible. I’ll obsessively get out a kitchen scale to weigh my equipment piece by piece, creatively looking for ways to cut 5 oz. here and 2 oz. there. Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs

^^ This whole week the sky has been like this on and off. I hear there are cosmic things happening with the universe right now. Sarah says there are five planets in retrograde and the largest lunar eclipse of the century tonight. It seems like everyone has been a little on edge! Wooooo woo! In between the storms, we had an epic neighborhood water balloon fight at our house! These kids crushed 100 balloons in about 2 minutes flat. ( Bunch O Balloons was the greatest invention of all time!) We started the week with a well stocked fridge filled with summer fruits, eggs, and Barney Butter ! I’ve been practicing my Mermaid bowl skills with the purchase of some silicone molds ! I’m so excited to get creative with this. Blue yogurt + oat sand + coconut butter shells + frosty blueberries!
