Celebrating 8 Years Together

Mal and I celebrated 8 years of marriage today!

With all of our recent celebrations and travel, we decided to keep things simple this year. We went out to lunch at East Bay Grille, bought each other cards, and it ended up being the perfect anniversary celebration!

Mal gave me the sweetest card ever. It’s definitely a keeper!

We talked about getting each other traditional anniversary gifts like last year, but neither of us had any luck with bronze. Although, the menu at East Bay had “Bronzed Grouper” on it, so it worked!

As an appetizer, we shared the bacon-wrapped scallops.

I had the Mixed Berries & Kale Salad with grilled chicken for my entree. I especially loved the cranberry Stilton cheese on it!

How long were you together with your significant other before you got married?

Mal and I were together for about 5 years before we tied the knot, which means we’ve been together for nearly 13 years now. Whoa. Haha!
