When I was younger my mom would always take us back-to-school shopping. We usually had a budget but we could pick the store where we wanted to shop. For me that was the Limited Too (until the whole store turned into glitter!), followed by Abercrombie & Fitch (until the shorts were so short I couldn’t wear them), then onto LOFT, Gap, and J. Often I have bought things on sale at the end of the previous season that I don’t remember and find them by surprise. I also try to clean out my current season clothes and consign or giveaway anything I didn’t wear that year. And managing a growing child’s clothes?! That’s a huge challenge in itself.

This fall I needed dresses, and Mazen needed jackets, button-down shirts, and soccer shorts. I found everything we needed and more! I loved that they all came with thredUP tags on them – it made them feel brand new (although the blue and white J. Crew dress was new with tags and only $39!)
