Let’s kick off the week with a killer workout! Are you guys ready for this one? It incorporates two of my favorite, full-body movements (Man Makers + running) for a seriously high-intensity and challenging workout. It’s a “good” one for sure!
How to do this workout: Perform 10 Man Makers and then run 400 meters. After that, you’ll do 9 Man Makers followed by a 400 meter run. Then, 8 Man Makers, 400 meter run, 7 Man Makers, 400 meter run… all the way down to 1 Man Maker with a final 400 meter run. You’ll run a total of 2.5 miles during this workout, but you can always reduce the running to 200 meters. It’ll still be an awesome workout!
Ok, so you’ve never done a Man Maker before? You’re in for a treat!! Start with two dumbbells, one in each hand, in the top of a push-up position. Do a push-up and then perform a row, right arm and then left arm, with the dumbbells.
Then, jump your feet in and perform a Squat Clean to Thruster with the dumbbells.
Once you stand up and finish the Thruster, you’ve completed one rep.
After that, bring the dumbbells back to the ground and repeat. Here’s a great video that shows the full Man Maker movement from start to finish.
