High Low High – July 4th

Image
Hi, guys! I hope you had a very nice July 4th holiday ! We didn’t have any big plans to celebrate, but things shaped up with quite a few last-minute get-togethers and plenty of good times! I love a good High Low High blog post, so here’s a recap of our long holiday weekend, which shares both the “highs” and “lows” from it. I always like to focus on the positive side of things, but I like to keep things real too, so there’s a nice mix of both. With that, here we go! HIGH : Celebrating the 4th with our hometown friends, which involved lots games, kids, drinks, and food, including the most amazing red, white, and blue Funfetti cake . The red and blue section were colored with fresh fruit – such a great idea, right? HIGH : Qman’s first ice cream truck experience! One came through our neighborhood over the weekend, and we just had to check it out. Quinn picked a Batman ice cream! HIGH : Making the most amazing Carrot Chicken Ramen Noodles for lunch and then again for dinner the next

Let’s look today the bigger picture behind hair loss and the situations in which it signifies a genuine health concern. Hair Loss: Genetic Destiny? To those in the know, androgenetic alopecia (AA) is the number one form of progressive hair loss. The term can be a little misleading: while it translates to male-pattern baldness, it a

Greetings from Bald Head Island! We’re here for our annual family beach trip and are joined by my parents, Larbs + Matt and Miss Emerson! We left Charlottesville at 6am on Sunday morning and arrived at noon, waited an hour for the ferry and sailed across. After that you have to catch a tram to deliver all of your gear to your house. It’s quite the haul! The relief of settling in for the week with this ocean view is the best! After unpacking, we went out to the beach for a quick dip in the ocean and then headed to Cape Fear Station for the Bald Head Island Conservancy’s Annual Picnic. We traded food tickets for a one-time through the buffet. They had burgers, dogs, and sides, plus live music and drinks. Mommy and Mazen, sittin’ in a tree…. ! Monday morning we woke up to sunshine and enjoyed eggs, toast, and cherries. We spent the morning in the ocean, which feels like bathwater!! Little Snuggles had mixed feelings about the setting. She is just learning to crawl! We to
