10 Years of Carrots ‘N’ Cake + Giveaway

Good morning!

So, there’s a lot to celebrate: Tomorrow (February 3rd) is National Carrot Cake Day as well as the day that I started Carrot ‘N’ Cake TEN (yes, a whole decade) years ago. (I figured I should publish this post a day early since not everyone reads on the weekend.) I didn’t even realize the coincidence until a couple of years after I wrote my first blog post, but I feel like it was definitely meant to be!

First and foremost, I want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOUTHANK YOUUUUU from the bottom of my heart for reading this blog and following my life journey. I started CNC as a hobby blog. I was 27 years old, and it was a way to keep me accountable as I shaped up for my wedding day. Nowadays, CNC is my full-time job and our family’s main source of income. It’s no longer a hobby, but I love it just as much as I did when I first started it. Today, I’m 37 years old, married with a child (and pug), and run two additional businesses that have been heavily supported by CNC readers. All this to say once again: THANK YOU for your support. This blog wouldn’t be what it is today without you, and I can’t even begin to explain how much each of your comments, questions, messages, likes, and emails mean to me. THANK YOU for being part of one of my life’s greatest adventures!

Speaking of adventures, CNC has awarded me so many incredible opportunities over the years. Since we’re celebrating 10 years today, I wanted to reminisce about some of amazing things I’ve done because of this blog. (I still think it’s crazy that a little online journal turned into what it did!) If you’re a new reader or someone who has followed since the beginning, I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane!

In no particular order:

1.  Spending a week in Israel as part of a fitness tour +  traveling to so many other amazing places, including Cabo San Lucas (twice), Stowe Mountain Lodge, Twin Farms, Oahu, Hawaii, and so many more. The amount of travel I’ve done over the past decade has been what I’m most thankful for – besides you guys, obviously!
