My Training at 46!!

How Bad Are Peanuts, Really?

First KFIT Bootcamp Workout at Hingham Location

Hi, guys! Hump Day started bright and early for me. I woke up around 3:30 AM and could NOT fall back to sleep. I’ve actually been sleeping really well lately and then… BAM… crappy night of sleep. Ughhhhh. I was totally wired at that hour, and I *think* it was related to hormones (I’ve been keeping a journal), but my random Googling (in the middle of the night) didn’t clear things up. Hopefully, the hormone course that I’m taking in April will help me make sense of it all. Anyway, by 6:30 AM, I was more than ready for breakfast. I had made overnight oats with vanilla protein powder , chia seeds, and sunflower seeds in an almost-empty Teddie peanut butter jar, so breakfast was waiting for me in the fridge. After breakfast, I got Quinn and myself ready for the day. After I dropped him off at school, I headed to KFIT for a workout – my first one at the new location! One of the most unique qualities of our Truvani Daily Turmeric Supplement is that the tablets are uncoated, so you can use them in recipes at home. This is great for people who have difficulty swallowing tablets, or simply don’t like popping pills. This supplement is REAL FOOD after all. This is just one way that Truvani Turmeric is so remarkable and different from other supplements on the market. Not to mention – the first USDA Certified Organic and Glyphosate Residue Free turmeric on the market! Simply pop a turmeric tablet in a mug and pour over it with hot water to instantly make hot turmeric tea. Tea is something that I enjoy daily and is one of my favorite rituals. This tea is great when you are traveling too – the tablets hardly take up any room in your bag and are so easy to drop in hot water at the airport or wherever you are! Truvani Turmeric T

Y’all know I love a good bedding update! I’ve been on the bright white and neutral bedding band wagon for years. Last year when I discovered my favorite sheets (Target’s Threshold Performance Sheets)  I ventured away from all white and got a few cute patterns. Lately I am digging darker, thicker, textured, moodier bedding when I see inspiration photos. Our bedroom is totally bland neutral in the wall, carpet, and bed colors, so the white/lighter bedding felt a bit blah to me in this space. I decided to take a risk with something dark. I donated one of my duvet covers (I had two, a white one and a linen stripe one) to the Marsh House , and I earned some reward credits from my Pottery Barn card from helping my parents buy new beds. I put those reward credits and a 20% off code to good use and got myself a new D A R K and textured duvet cover! Navy is one of our house accent colors. It’s classic and a bit nautical and hides stains well. (I’m looking at you, Gus!) So, I had been kee
