High-Protein Vegetarian Breakfasts (That Aren’t Eggs)

Hi, friends! With the new year officially here, I wanted to share some of the macro-friendly vegetarian recipes that I plan to add back into my weekly rotation. After FULLY enjoying the holiday season, my body is craving much more nutritious meals. Anyone else? Of course, the fun part about taking a break from macro-counting and meal prep is that I always feel excited to jump back into a routine with more intentional eating habits (aka fewer cookies and more veggies)! 🙂 Now that we’re back to our usual morning routine, planning ahead is a must for me. On the top of my list is starting my day with a breakfast that keeps me satisfied all morning long. I find that if I focus on including protein, it prevents me from digging through the kitchen cabinets at 10:00 AM. Bye bye tree!! Thomas and I took the Christmas decor down this weekend. I am loving how open the room is again, obviously. She was a good tree, but 3 weeks is plenty of bonding time with her We’ve been doing lots of indoor crafts this week – Play Doh drive-thru, slime making, drawings. We had visits from Uncle John and Uncle Dave! (Thomas’s friends) The above was this weekend at Kardinal Hall where we went to meet up with friends. B took a pumped bottle and slept in the Solly for a good part of the time. Mazen and I played Uno! (Hairstyle by Matt…!) M also played well with the other kiddos in our group outside. ( This card holder is a must for kids!) I had a salad with a sausage on top for an early dinner. Sausage isn’t a very pretty salad topper – lol! Typical breakfast display. Daily Harvest smoothie , coffee, pump, computer. Typical lunch display: ROOTS!!! I gotta have a bowl at least once a week since discovering the satellite pick-up spot. A bowl is $10 and lasts ...
