What I Ate + Pug Adventures [Timestamps]

Image
It’s time for another “day in the life” via timestamps! I hope you guys enjoy these blog posts because I think they’re really fun to write, and it’s a nice way to remember our “regular” days as a family. Let me know what you guys think! 7:15 AM : Breakfast in the living room with Quinn (and Murphy). On the menu: Banana oats mixed with Nuzest smooth vanilla protein powder, cinnamon, and almond butter. Delish! To drink, I had vanilla nut Teeccino mixed with collagen and some Nutpods. Teccino is an “herbal coffee alternative” that a reader emailed me about it, and I’m seriously loving it! It’s made from organic carob, organic barley, organic chicory, dates, almonds, organic figs, natural vanilla extract, and natural vanilla nut flavor. It comes in tea bags, but I was told the bagged grinds were the way to go. You just brew it like regular coffee! (I brew it and then put it in the fridge overnight.) 8:50 AM : Summer camp drop-off. 10:24 AM : We stopped by Pressed for a quick snack

Raspberry Jam + Fage Total with more breakfast cookie and blueberries Birchie Breakfast Peach slices, yogurt pouch (he slurps it himself) and bite-size cookie. Missing Big Bro I’ve gotten a few reports from Karen and Mazen. Their cell service is very spotty, but he’s having a good time! It’s been lonely here without him, so we went in his room to play with his stuffed animal collection. (He has about 100 thanks to Grammie!) Gym Date

Is Carbonated Water Okay? [1:41] Brice says: Just listened to Wired To Eat and loved it. I’m not too far off from this diet, am pretty “fit”, but too frequently make exceptions which I think are totally sabotaging my efforts. I’m still curious about your thoughts on carbonated water without added colors and flavors – like Topo Chico, Croix, Perrier, etc. I have one of these every couple days.. more as a treat than anything.   2. Have You Seen This Gluten Enzyme Study? [3:40] Austin says: http://suppversity.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-gluten-solution-aspergillus-niger.html This is an enzyme that apparently neutralizes (or has the potential to) the inflammatory effects of gluten. I’d love to hear your thoughts on thi
