Oatmeal Pumpkin Spice White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Image
Happy Cookie Friday , friends! Clearly, I am embracing all things fall, which means lots of time spent in the kitchen baking up new (pumpkin) recipes! During the summer I rarely feel the urge to heat up the kitchen by turning on the stove. It’s hot enough outside! I always lean towards creating new no-bake sweets like all the protein ball recipes I can come up with. I never get tired of them and Quinn loves helping me mix up the batter, so it’s part of the weekly summertime routine. This time of year there is nothing better than a warm cookie, and Quinn can still jump in the kitchen to be my little helper. This recipe makes me think of a little bit of fall with a touch of Christmas cookie sneaking in early. The combo of pumpkin with white chocolate chips is a fun twist and creates a super moist and gooey cookie. Who doesn’t love that? I also swapped in some healthier ingredients to up the nutrition – because who says you can’t have the best of both worlds! I hope you enjoy gettin...

From Cake To Tylenol

If you’re following on Instagram (I’m sorry blog news is always a few days late!) you’ll know that the visit with my parents started out like this ^^ celebrating my dad’s birthday with our favorite cake from Foods Of All Nations. And ended like this, sick in bed all day. VIDEOS Dad and Thomas came down with a fast and furious stomach bug, and the next day I had a fever all day and felt pretty crummy. Mom hasn’t gotten it (yet?) and we were all very thankful that she was well enough to bring us ginger ale, medicine and toast. Everyone was quarantined to their rooms, and I was worried that B would get it the whole time. My parents left this morning feeling much better. The timing of this with a newborn was ...

I am so excited to share this fun holiday gift with you guys! If you’re a long-time follower, you probably remember our family’s annual “ 24 Days of Togetherness ” tradition. I can’t believe this is our 7th year doing it! Boy, how time flies! If you’re unfamiliar, here’s a little backstory . Basically, “24 Days of Togetherness” is a holiday bucket list . It started with just Mal and me (and Murphy) and has extended to Quinn and more family-orientated activities. The holiday seasons always flies by, so I wanted to find a way to really enjoy it together. In the past, we made our own little kit with slips of paper where we would write our holiday activities to “complete” each day. I decided to take the work out of “24 Days of Togetherness” by turning the slips of paper into a pretty PDF that you can simply cut and pick and choose the activities that you want to do. No need to brainstorm activities! There are 4 pages of holiday-inspired activities with a few extra blank slips where yo...
